CleanShot X 5.0
CleanShot X 5.0 MTW has updated its screenshot utility, CleanShot X, to version 5.0, a major upgrade that introduces Studio Mode screen recording. Ideal for detailed screencasts and product demos, Studio Mode records your screen as an editable project and lets you use a variety of tools to enhance the video after recording. Studio Mode’s editor enables you to make editing trims, add smooth zooms that follow your cursor, clean up shaky cursor movement, add motion blur, include background imagery for your recordings, adjust cursor size, and even turn on the option to include system audio when editing (in case you forgot to turn it on when recording). The release also improves rendering performance for faster exports, updates the app settings with a more modern look, and requires at least macOS 13 Ventura. CleanShot X is priced at a one-time fee of $35, and it also offers a CleanShot Pro subscription that adds unlimited cloud storage and custom branding for $12 per month or $120 annually.
